The Massenger of Allah PBUH said that: Who ever say this (prayer above) in the morning has indeed gain the rewards of freeing a salve from the children of Ismaeel, and ten of his sin are wiped away, and he is rise ten degrees, and he has found a safe retreat from the devil until evening. Similarly if he says it at evening, he will be protected untill the morning.

On the authority of Jaabir Ibn abdullah MABH he said: The Prophet PBUH would instruct us to pray for guidance in all of our conserns, just as he PBUH would teach us a chapter from the Qur'an (its show that this instruction is very important). He PBUH would say "If any of you intends to undertake a matter then let him pray two supererogatory units (two raka'ah solah sunnah) of prayer and after which he should pray:

'O Allah, I seek Your counsel by Your knowledge and by Your power I seek strength and I ask you from Your immense favour, for verily You are able while I am not, and verily You know while i do not, and You are the Knower of the unseen.

O Allah, if You know this affair -and here he mentions his needs- to be good for me in relation to my religion, my life, and end (future), then decree and facilitate it for me, and bless me with it, and if You know this affair to be ill for me towards my religion, my life, and end then remove it from me and remove me from it, and decree for me what is good (or better) whatever it be and make me satisfied with such.'

One who seeks guidance from his Creator and consults his fellow believers and then remains firm in his resolve does not regret, for Allah has said:

About Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal:

Among the great signs of the last hour and the greatest trials to befall mankind, which every Prophet has warned about. Most of mankind will follow him.

He will appear from Asbahaan (or Khurasaan in some other reference), at the time when the Moslem will conquer Constantinople.

He will be given special powers and will make the truth seem false and vise versa. He will claim to be righteous and then he will claim prophethood and finally, divinity.

From his features is that he will be blind in his right eye which is a definite proof that contradicts hi sclaim to be Allah as it is a sign of imperfection.

The word "Kaafir" will be written between his eyes which every believer, literate or illiterate will recognise.

To You belongs all praise, You are the Sustainer of the Heavens and the Earth and all that is within them.

To You belongs all praise, You are Lord of the Heavens and the Earth and all that is within them.

To You belongs all praise, and the Kingdom of the Heavens and the Earth and all that is within them.

To You belongs all praise, You are the King of the Heavens and the Earth and all that is within them.

You are the truth, Your promise is true, Your Word is true, and the Day in which we will encounter You is true, the Garden of Paradise is true and the Fire is true, and the Prophets are true, Muhammad PBUH is true and the Final Hour is true.

O Allah, unto You i have submiteed, and upon You i have relied, and in You i have believed, and to You i have turned in repentance, and over You i have disputed, and to You i have turned for judgment.

So forgive me for what has come to pass of my sins and what will come to pass, and what i have hidden and what i have made public.

You are Al-Muqaddin and Al-Muakhhir. None has the right to be worshipped except You, You are my Deity,none has the right to be worshipped except You.

O Allah, You are the Sovereign, none has the right to be worshipped except You. You are my Lord and i am Your servant, i have wronged my own soul and have acknowledged my sin, so forgive me all my sins for no one forgives sins except You. Guide me to the best of characters for none can guide to it other than You, and deliver me from the worst of characters for none can deliver me from it other than You.

Here i am, in answer to Your call, happy to serve You.

All good is within Your hands and evil does not stem from You. I exist by your will and will return to You. Blessed and High are You, I seek Your forgiveness and repent unto You.'

One should then send prayers on the Prophet PBUH after answering the call of the muadhin.'

'O Allah, Owner of this perfect call and Owner of this prayer to be performed, bestow upon Muhammad al-waseelah (a station in paradise) and al-fadeelah (a rank above the rest of creation) and send him upon a praised platform wich You have promised him. Verily, You never fail in Your promise.'

One should also supplicate for himself during the time between the adhan and the iqaamah as supplication at such time is not rejected.

Men who celebrate the praises of Allah, standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and contemplate the (wonders of) creation in the heavens and the earth, (With the thought): "Our Lord! not for naught Hast Thou created (all) this! Glory to Thee! Give us salvation from the penalty of the Fire.

'Our Lord! any whom Thou dost admit to the Fire, Truly Thou coverest with shame, and never will wrong-doers Find any helpers! '

'Our Lord! we have heard the call of one calling (Us) to Faith, 'Believe ye in the Lord,' and we have believed. Our Lord! Forgive us our sins, blot out from us our iniquities, and take to Thyself our souls in the company of the righteous. '

'Our Lord! Grant us what Thou didst promise unto us through Thine messengers, and save us from shame on the Day of Judgment: For Thou never breakest Thy promise.'

And their Lord hath accepted of them, and answered them: "Never will I suffer to be lost the work of any of you, be he male or female: Ye are members, one of another: Those who have left their homes, or been driven out therefrom, or suffered harm in My Cause, or fought or been slain,- verily, I will blot out from them their iniquities, and admit them into Gardens with rivers flowing beneath;- A reward from the presence of Allah, and from His presence is the best of rewards."

Let it not deceive you that those who disbelieve go to and fro in the cities fearlessly.

A brief enjoyment! then their abode is hell, and evil is the resting-place.

But those who keep their duty to their Lord, for them are Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein they will be safe for ever. A gift of welcome from their Lord. That which Allah hath in store is better for the righteous.

And there are, certainly, among the People of the Book, those who believe in Allah, in the revelation to you, and in the revelation to them, bowing in humility to Allah: They will not sell the Signs of Allah for a miserable gain! For them is a reward with their Lord, and Allah is swift in account.

ye who believe! Endure, outdo all others in endurance, be ready, and observe your duty to Allah, in order that ye may succeed.

He PBUH also said:
'Should I not inform you of the best of deeds, and the most sanctifying of deeds before your Lord, wich does more more to raise your positions (with Him), and are better for you than the disbursement of gold and money, or battle with the enemy?' They (the companions) said: 'Indeed! inform us.' He PBUH then said: 'Remembrance of Allah The Majestic".

It is to put ourselves in touch with God, remind ourselves of His greatness, goodness and beauty, think over how we can develop the qualities He has placed in us, remember the goal He has put before us, and ask for His help in enabling us to do good and refrain from evil. Prayer also makes us see our lives, with all the successes and disappointments, in their true perspective, and makes us pause for a moment to see what we are doing in the light of what God wants us to do.

Is prayer necessary?
Just as the body requires food, cleansing, and exercise to make it fit for everyday living, the spirit or soul has spiritual needs for its development, so that one's character and conduct remains good and healthy. The needs of the spirit are provided by acts of worship and devotion, the most important and frequent of which is prayer. Not supplying these needs weakens the highest part of man, damaging his ability to do good and refrain from evil, just as not having enough food makes his body unfit to work and prone to disease.

What are the most important points Islam teaches about prayer?
Among many other important points about prayer, the first is that a person should say his prayers "as if he is seeing God", or at least be conscious that he is in God's presence. This means that prayer should be said with full attention, concentration of mind, and feeling of heart, just as if we were talking to someone in front of us. Another very important point Islam teaches is that a main purpose of prayer is to lead one to do good, to refrain from evil, and to behave better towards others. If prayer does not have this effect on a person's daily life and conduct, it means that he or she is not performing prayers properly, in the way required by Islam.

The Importance of Prayer
Prayer is the respiration of the soul, the intimate bond with one's Creator and Savior. Prayer is primarily an intention of the soul. As the body breathes continuously, so must the soul also constantly strive to get closer to God. The soul is a little like a plant needing water and fertilizer to grow and develop.

Therefore, whatever our state of life (lay or consecrated) and occupations - personal, professional or public - the interior recollection in silence before God is the most important attitude of prayer, putting us in contact with the One who is our source, the Source.

As for the various forms of prayer, they differ along with the very variety of every individual soul in its intimate dialogue with the Lord.

Some people think - erroneously - that if laudatory prayer is something positive, intercessory prayer is somewhat inferior, since "one cannot change God' heart, He who knows our needs better than we do"... Of course, we cannot change God's heart through prayer, but it is God Himself who changes our hearts as well as those for whom we pray... That is stated in the Qur'an:

“Therefore remember Me, I will remember you and be Gratefull to Me, and reject not faith” (Al-Baqara:152).

“When My servants ask thee concerning Me, I am indeed close (to them): I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calleth on Me: Let them also, with a will, Listen to My call, and believe in Me: That they may walk in the right way” (AL-Baqara: 186, Translated by Yusuf Ali).

For if prayer cannot change God's heart, without prayer the door of our soul remains closed and the power of God will not go in by force.

The Essence of Prayer
The most important thing in prayer is just to be there: to be attentive to the Real Presence of Another, and as well as remembering others, through whom Allah might be calling us.

If we believe in the Creator, believe He exists, and we believe that He desires to have a relationship with us, how important is prayer? If prayer is simply communicating, chatting if I may, then how important is prayer?

If we define prayer as simply chatting with God, and He desires a relationship with us, then perhaps we can compare prayer with talking with our best friend or spouse. How important is daily communication with our spouse or our best friend? Do we grow closer when we do not engage in daily conversation?

When we engage in daily conversation in any relationship, it should enable us to grow closer to that individual. So if we talk with God daily, do we not also grow closer to Him daily? And if we do not communicate with God daily, can we really grow closer? Even if we fill our lives with ‘holy’ activities—reading spiritual books, doing good works, going to church---will we grow closer without the daily communication that prayer is?

Prayer is infinitely important. When I pray daily, when I communicate daily with God and make time for Him in my life, I really do have an easier road. When I do not spend time with God daily, especially communicating with Him, I notice a profound difference in my daily achievements.

When you pray, you are communicating with the Creator of the universe. The Creator sincerely wants to hear and answer your prayers.

What is Prayer?
Prayer is an essential part of daily activity. “Therefore remember Me, I will remember you and be Gratefull to Me, and reject not faith” (Al-Baqara:152).

Prayer is a conversation with God
Prayer is an act of communication rather than a ritual. It is not a mechanical torrent of empty words.

Let us define prayer as simply communicating with our Creator. Prayer might be asking God for help. It might be thanking Him for His blessings. Or it might be simply communicating, much the same way we might talk with a friend, discussing our day.

Are you communicating with God daily?
Do you make time for Him everyday, no matter what? If you do, great. If not, I challenge you to get into the habit now. You will notice an immediate difference in the way you perceive things and in the way you respond to the world around you. Prayer does indeed change things.

Worship helps us enter into prayer
Everyone has the same thirst to meet the Creator of the universe, who draws us to Him. We want to respond to God’s creative action for us, both past and present. Worship is a free act on our behalf; it’s the act of a person who wants to meet his Creator. It is an act which requires the search for truth. Humanity is religious and the way we respond to God’s creative and loving action is through worship, which leads to contemplation.
